| What are Demons? |
|
Ancient texts depict powerful demons as evil beings of the underworld or fallen angels that are tasked with the destruction of humanity. These evil creatures can appear and take on many identities, most of them are seldom human, though they do seem to like to take on the form of loved ones to cause as much emotional pain and confusion as possible.
Daemons can occupy a human’s body and in doing so use the humans body to carry out its plans. It is believed that the only way of extricating it is through the ancient ritual of exorcism. A clergyman is typically called upon to carry out the ritual.
Demons have been feared and written about in practically every society in one type or another for as long as History has been recorded. It is believed that Daemons are able to take the form of anything, even small children. Other people think about demons as more of a non material force of evil fighting for one’s spirit or soul. |
